Is it really 100% free?
Yes! LocalMeet Notes is currently in open beta and completely free to use. There are
no
subscriptions, no hidden fees, and no "pro" tiers limiting your transcriptions.
Where is my meeting data stored?
Your data never leaves your Mac. Audio recordings, transcripts, and summaries are
stored
securely in your local Documents folder. We do not have servers, so we couldn't see
your
data even if we wanted to.
Does it work with Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet?
Absolutely. LocalMeet Notes captures system audio and microphone input
simultaneously, so it
works with any conferencing software including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet,
Webex,
and Slack Huddles.
What are the system requirements?
We highly recommend a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1, M2, or M3 chips) for the best
performance
as we leverage the Neural Engine for AI tasks. Intel Macs are supported but may
experience
slower processing times.
